Public Finance - State and Local Public Policies

Welcome to my site. I am a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Michigan with expected graduation date in Summer 2021. Before coming to Michigan, I attended the University of Lausanne in Switzerland, and University College London.

I am on the job market, and will be available for interviews during the 2020 EEA meeting and the 2021 ASSA meeting.

My research is primarily in the fields of public finance and public policy. I am particularly interested in the effects of state and local policies on firms. My research also focuses on the determinants of local policies and public goods provision, and how economic shocks affect local taxation.

In my job market paper, I look at the effect of state business taxation on business dynamics - establishments and firms entry and exit.
